Purpose

How to use
Whether it’s gold leaf, foil, or another gilding material, ensure it is properly cut and ready for application.
Place the gilding press on a stable surface and ensure it is securely tightened.
Lay the sheet on top of the heated platen of the gilding press. Ensure it covers the entire area where you’ll be applying the gilding material.
Turn on the gilding press and allow it to reach the desired temperature. The recommended temperature will vary depending on the type of gilding material used.
Place the prepared gilding material onto the silicon sheet, ensuring it aligns with your desired area of application.
Lower the press onto the gilding material and apply even pressure for the recommended duration. This will vary depending on the type of gilding material and desired effect.
Once the recommended duration has passed, carefully lift the press to reveal your gilded design.
Gently remove any excess gilding material or residue from the silicon sheet, taking care not to damage the finished gilded surface.
After use, clean the silicon sheet with a soft cloth or mild soap and water. Ensure it is completely dry before storing it in a clean and dry location.
